Kammasandra (Kotilinga) near Kolar Gold Fields is the place to find lingas in all shapes and sizes. Legend has that the Aswas (horses) left free by Lord Ramachandra during his Aswamedha Yagna in Tretayuga, had passed through Kammasandra to Avani.
