Karnataka Public Library System

Public libraries are a living force for education, culture, information and development of the masses. They are the essential agent for fostering social peace and welfare.

They translate information needs of masses in to action. The conference will provide an insight to evolve approaches for modernizing the functionaries of Public Libraries with the state of art technologies, emphasizing on Community Information and Knowledge Centres to serve the users with information treasure and thereby build the image of the Iibrarianship.
