Karnataka Government Secretariat Library
A Library was in existence prior to independence and it functioned as a reference library with admission being restricted to Gazetted Officers and Members of the Legislative Council and the Economic Conference.
The Secretariat Library forms a part and parcel of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms and comes under the direct control of the Chief Secretary to the Government of Karnataka.
