Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT) is a self-financing Engineering College started in 1979 to meet the growing demand for technically trained manpower for industrial growth of the country.

The Institute has highly qualified and motivated faculty who are actively involved in research and are constantly associated with practicing engineers.

All the departments have well equipped laboratories with facilities for experiments and studies in areas like Flexible Manufacturing Systems.

The Institute has a very strong Industry Interaction Centre and a full-fledged Training and Placement Cell. Regular mock interviews, group discussions etc., are conducted to train the students in developing soft skills.
